In a heartwarming display of compassion and kindness, YOUNIB Kenya’s Nairobi Branch, led by the Augustinians of the Assumption, visited a street children rehabilitation center in Kayole, bringing gifts, donations, and a sense of community to the young residents. Brother Philemon and Kelvin played key roles in organizing this meaningful event.

The YOUNIB youth volunteers spent the day engaging in various activities with the children, including cooking, eating, playing, and simply spending time together. These shared experiences not only brought joy to the children but also fostered a sense of belonging and connection.

The YOUNIB team arrived bearing gifts and donations, which were gratefully received by the children. These contributions will undoubtedly make a significant difference in their lives, providing essential support and care.

This visit was a perfect reflection of YOUNIB’s vision and mission to serve and empower vulnerable communities. By investing time, resources, and love, the YOUNIB youth embodied the organization’s values and demonstrated the true meaning of compassion and solidarity.

YOUNIB Kenya’s commitment to serving the vulnerable extends beyond this visit. The organization offers a range of programs and services designed to support those in need, including:

– Mental health support for individuals affected by anxiety, depression, and other mental disorders

– Counseling services to provide guidance and healing

– Support for those struggling with addiction, helping them on their journey towards recovery

These programs demonstrate YOUNIB’s holistic approach to care, addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of individuals and communities.

As Easter celebrations approach, the YOUNIB Kenya team reminded us all of the importance of kindness, generosity, and community. Their selfless act of service was a beautiful expression of the Easter spirit, spreading joy and hope to those who need it most.

YOUNIB Kenya’s Nairobi Branch, particularly Brother Philemon, Kelvin, and the Augustinians of the Assumption, deserve heartfelt appreciation for their dedication to serving street children and promoting a culture of care and compassion. Their efforts inspire us all to make a positive impact in our communities.
