YOUNIB offers school stationery to street children in rehabilitation centers to go to school!

Most of the children we help have both their parents but sometimes unfortunately they do not. Many of these children do not have parents and have been rescued from Nairobi streets. Without sponsorship or help from a charity, street children and orphans will most certainly have to steal, to work or beg for the rest of their lives. Left alone these street children and orphans will suffer from a lack of basic needs, food and/or sickness. They are at high risk of being taken advantage of or abused, just like some of them. Helping street children is not an activity or our main focus but it does not mean we view it as less critical when we have the opportunity to help them. It is a ministry and a necessity for the YOUNIB youths who also come from critical families. Through collection of pens, pencils, bag packs, exercise books, school fees well wishers Christians and others have given to these kids a chance of getting a childhood, an education and a school where to study and build a future. Through the YOUNIB back to school program organized by the YOUNIB youths this year 2023, the program aims at helping all kind of children in need of help – poor children, orphans and children with disabilities – but majorly street children. Our greatest satisfaction is to see children blossom thanks to the help they have been provided through our YOUNIB charity.
