When was the last time you saw a child smile? Probably not long ago. I find it curious that the smiles are very similar to each other, but at the same time, they are very different because they hide different reasons. Although many children do not have everyday essentials, I admire how they still manage to smile. Today as the YOUNIB was giving out to children the fruits of their collection from generous people, we all realized that poverty is the inadequacy of the things necessary for life. Most of the time people tend to close their eyes so as not to perceive the poverty that is present around them, but we as the youths must open our hands and give to those who are in need. #createsmiles
Thank you so for your work, May God bless you all+.

On December 15th 2019, the YOUNIB Kenya held its annual General Assembly and at the same time celebrated its end year party. It was a very motivating moment for YOUNIB members, youths coming from various cultural and religious backgrounds. The event aimed also at electing the YOUNIB CHRISTMAS AMBASSADOR FOR PEACE 2019. In fact, the YOUNIB AFRICA acknowledges as Ambassador for Peace those individual youths whose lives exemplify the ideal of living for the sake of others and who dedicate themselves to practices who promote universal moral values, strong family life, Interreligious cooperation, Local, National and International harmony, respecting Human Rights, responsible public media, and the establishment of a culture of Peace. Transcending racial and religious barriers, the Ambassador for Peace contribute to the fulfillment of the hope of all ages, a unified world of peace wherein the spiritual and material dimension of life are harmonized. The day was full of blessings and entertainments. Ever the Best and United for Peace
This project contributes to improving the participation of young men and women in peace building in NAIROBI-Kenya, giving them the opportunity to learn, to strengthen their knowledge and skills, to be heard, to improve their conditions and to engage in peaceful dialogue to reduce the risk of joining extremist groups and fostering peace.
This project wants to result in the way that firstly targeted youth (men and women) have a better understanding of the process of implementation of the Peace Agreement and the Resolution; secondly joint actions by targeted youth (men and women) strengthen their participation and representation in the peace building process and thirdly the social dialogue between young people and the economic resources of the targeted youth (men and women) is reinforced to reduce the risks of radicalization.
YOUTH EVER THE BEST AND UNITED FOR PEACE (YET B UP)
Many youths and young adults today find it difficult to access the labor market. This applies particularly to women and to people not only in from rural areas and remote regions but even to people in cities like Nairobi. Job opportunities are very limited for many youths and that leads many of them to venture in prostitution, theft, idleness, etc. In addition, young people usually lack career guidance and the social skills required by employers. The YOUNIB tries its best, with the very limited resources it has, to promote small income generating activities which offers to the youths the possibility to be employed and earn something for their living. These small income generating activities, like the YOUNIB EATERY/RESTAURANT, can prepare them at least to have better access to the employment market. This will contribute to the peacekeeping efforts in the country.
At one of our forums, an amazing range of youths showed, performed, depicted, and described
how they work with other young people to deal with drug problems.
The aim of this marathon was to bring reformed addicted youths together and to show how
sport can be best used to support by-youth/for-youth approaches to substance abuse
prevention, and to identify and describe “good practices” for other groups to use.

… Very nice experience with these young people to celebrate the joy of belonging to a human family created by God.
Young people be faithful to the values that build because fidelity is the first of all virtues; it gives unity to our life which, without it, would scatter in a thousand fugitive impressions. YOUNIB ever the Best and United for Peace
